GCRA’s Emergency Home Repair Grant Program offers financial assistance up to $5,000 for seniors (age 62+) and disabled residents in desperate situations. The money for repairs necessary to meet code regulations is provided by grant funding and is not required to be repaid. Program participants must fall within the low to moderate income level as follows:

Once the homeowner is approved for the program, GCRA will arrange an assessment of the house and will oversee the project to make sure the homeowner’s needs are met and the project is completed in a timely manner.
