Whether you’re looking at your first home as an investment or you never thought owning a home might be possible, GCRA provides affordable homes and low-interest financing options that help make this dream become reality.

The professional staff at GCRA guides you through every step of the process and provides you with information, in-house expertise and confidence through these important decisions.

  • Become Qualified: The first step is to fill out an application. Click here to get a copy of the application in English or Spanish. Applicants who are not currently qualified due to credit issues or budgeting constraints can speak with a GCRA representative to learn about becoming qualified.
  • Obtain Financing: GCRA works with many banks and financial institutions to find financing that meets your needs.
  • Find Your Home: If you have a realtor that you are working with, GCRA will gladly work with him or her. If you do not have a realtor, your GCRA representative will help you through the home buying process. GCRA offers a variety of floor plans so we’re sure to have a home that’s right for you and your family.
  • Become a Homeowner: Your GCRA representative will take you through the home buying process step-by-step and will communicate with lenders and attorneys, make sure documents are easy to understand and accompany you to your closing appointment. As a part of the program, homeowners are asked to attend a Homebuyer Education Program. There are several available programs to conveniently meet your schedule.
