2012 Board Announcements

(January 9, 2012) - The Greenville County Redevelopment Authority (GCRA) is pleased to announce its 2012 board of directors appointed by the Greenville County Council. The board's executive committee was elected in a recent board meeting and includes Joseph Wilson as chairman; David A. Doser as vice-chairman; and John Mahony as treasurer. David Doser, Sandra Garrison, and Joseph Wilson were reappointed by the Greenville County Council to serve a three year term.

  • Joseph Wilson (Chairman) - senior manager at Windstream, Inc.
  • David A. Doser (Vice-Chairman) - senior associate with Clark Patterson Lee
  • John R. Mahony (Treasurer) - Joy Real Estate Co., Inc. in Greenville and Fortune Academy in Myrtle Beach
  • Wil Brasington - Director of Alumni Relations for Clemson University
  • Erin Culbertson - attorney at Culbertson and Alexander, LLC
  • Amy Dunn - currently stay-at-home mom. Since graduating from Furman University in 1994 she has served the Greenville County community in many capacities, through her employment and volunteer work.
  • Sandra C. Garrison - recently retired from the Greenville County Auditor's Office
  • Louise Holmes - retired banking accountant and fuel management consultant
  • J. Darrell Kellett - owner of Kellett Plumbing Co., Inc. and Great South Partners, LLC of Greenville, SC
  • Fletcher L. Martin, Jr. - retired administrator and principal from Anderson District 1
  • Tom Van Norstrand - retired from GE Corporation in the marketing department

GCRA’s mission is to improve the quality of life for low and moderate income citizens of Greenville County by administering Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds and developing community partnerships. GCRA takes a comprehensive approach to community revitalization by building new homes, rehabilitating existing homes, and strengthening the infrastructures of the communities, as well as providing credit and homeownership education programs. GCRA works throughout Greenville County, including Fountain Inn, Greer, Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Travelers Rest.
